After 29 years of living in South Dakota, Mark and I made the 1800+ mile move to the mountains of Western North Carolina!  We have been looking forward to this chapter of our lives and finally the time has come.   Our dream fixer up sits on top of a mountain at 3200 elevation just outside of the town of Waynesville in the Great Smoky Mountains.  The move has us working hard on the house and property, unpacking more boxes than two people should ever have to deal with and getting acclimated to our new community.

Mark is loving being retired and working the land and on the house. I'm working part time at Mast General Store and working on my art businesses: Organic Life Jewelry and Kallhoff Portrait restructure. Look for more on that to come!
