High Desert Sky Necklace

This piece feels like standing at the edge of a canyon just before dusk.

A soft band of amazonite rests above richly patterned Red Creek jasper, like an open sky meeting layered earth. The cool blue-green is calm and steady. Beneath it, the jasper tells a different story entirely. Rust, moss, clay, and stone all pressed together in natural artwork that could never be repeated twice.

The pendant is a composite of Amazonite and Red Creek jasper, simple in shape but full of movement and depth. I chose to suspend it from a hand-beaded Amazonite and sterling silver chain to carry that sky tone upward, bead by bead. The result is grounded, but light. Earthy, but open.

It feels steady. Balanced. Like something you reach for when you want to feel both rooted and clear.

Details:
• Composite Amazonite and Red Creek jasper pendant
• 16 inch hand-beaded Amazonite and sterling silver chain
• One of a kind

As always, made slowly at the bench in the mountains of North Carolina.
